Sound intervention in the public (telecommunication) space. PLLUX06-Blue Number is an intervention into the city soundscape. The project implements sound intervention within the telecommunication public space with the help of telephone lines. Callers will be able to choose from eight sounds available through an automatic phone service on a free, so called blue phone number offered by the local telephone provider. Such sonic interventions are intended to test relations toward mass media and capital by implanting art into the context of everyday praxis.
